The divine bread crumb
Countless people suffer from anxiety and other mental health issues. It’s no joke. But what if you could teach people what it’s like to live with anxiety through stories and humor? Our guest in this episode is doing just that. Elaine Best is host of the popular Angus Eye Tea Podcast which she describes as a “Comedy Mental Health Podcast.” Elaine is not only hilarious, but she’s also one smart woman. To say that Elaine is open about living with anxiety is an understatement. She gives you the good, bad, and the ugly, but she does it in a way that makes the listener feel comfortable. Elaine’s podcast attracts listeners of all ages, but what’s interesting is that parents of children with anxiety are starting to tune in as well.
In this episode, Elaine shares how a Divine Breadcrumb moment led her to her first therapist and then to starting a podcast. She also describes some of her earliest fears as well as one of her most embarrassing moments (we can relate!).
Vibrant visionaries
Elaine Best is the hilarious, candid and courageous creator of Angus Eye Tea – The podcast about anxiety, depression, and other cheerful topics. When I heard Elaine on a recent episode of her podcast share insights and ideas on how to stay creative during bouts of depression I immediately asked if I could share it with you, here on Vibrant Visionaries.

Insightful and delightful Elaine Best of the Angus Eye Tea podcast and I share our thoughts and observations on Parks & Recreation season 2 episode 9 The Camel. Check out her wonderful podcast Angus Eye Tea.
Your Empty Nest Coach
In today’s episode in our Not So Empty Nest series, I share a conversation I had with two of my closest podcasting friends, Elaine Best of Angus Eye Tea and Carolyn Kiel of Beyond 6 Seconds.
Beyond 6 Seconds
Welcome to a special mini episode of Beyond 6 Seconds! I recorded this episode from She Podcasts Live, the first conference of its kind for women podcasters, which took place in October 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia.
While I was here surrounded by so many talented podcasters, I wanted to learn more about their experiences… so I caught up with 6 podcasters at the conference and asked them one question:
“What’s the most meaningful experience you’ve had as a result of having your podcast?”
